Orientation :
In Harlem, there was a foster kid, named Annie. She was left by her parents as a baby with the promise that they’d be back for her someday. She lived in Miss Hannigan’s house with the other foster kids. After school, Annie usually visited a restaurant where she was waiting for her parents who never come. Annie was unable to learn anything about her parents.
Complication :
One day, Annie walked home depressed. She saw two boys annoying a dog. Annie ran and yelled at them to stop it. Annie almost was being hit by a vehicle, but Will, who passed that place, saved her. A video of Will's heroic action hit the web. Guy suggested him to find Annie, and used her to make him looked good at the public. He believed he was her guardian angel.
Annie joined Will, Grace and Guy at the Guggenheim Museum for Stacks’ Mobile event called "A Night at The Museum". Will invited Annie up the stage. She sang "Opportunity", and the whole room was impressed on her voice. After the performance, Guy told Annie to read a speech that he wrote, but Annie is quiet and left the stage upset. Annie admitted to Will and Grace that she couldn’t read.
Guy devised a plan with Hannigan to get fake parents for Annie to get her off Will's hands, it because if Will reunited Annie with her parents, Guy would get a nice reward. Later, Hannigan hold an audition of actors to act, but she’s not satisfied with any of them. So Guy searched it by himself.
Resolution :
Finally, Will knew that Annie’s “parents” were fake. He and his friends tried to save Annie. The parents took her to the corners of New York by car. After chased Annie, Will dropped out of the mayoral competition to prove his devotion. He adopts Annie.
Moral Value : Confront any problems with smile, and don’t easily give up.
